Digital Technologies

Today I was testing out the different types of blogging tools, trying to find out which would be best suitable for me to use throughout my AS Media coursework. There were several different digital technologies I tried, one being 'podomatic'. I think this would be a good blogging tool for me to use when asking my target audience questions about how my ideas are. I will be able to record their responses easily and upload them. Also, a program called 'TubeChop' this will allow me to  cut snippets from YouTube videos so I only show the essential part of the clip I want. Flickr is another blogging tool I could use to upload high quality photos so I can easily put them onto my blog. Prezi is a presentation making tool that has a professional looking layout which I find would be a good tool to make presentations throughout the course so I will be using Prezi to make some of my presentation.

Baseline Assessment

Here I have found a selection of school magazines. From them I have cropped out the mastheads. This is research into other schools mastheads to help me out when I am designing my own masthead for the school magazine I will be creating. I have realized that majority of the mastheads include the name of the school so it will be a good idea to have Plantsbrook in the name of my magazines masthead.
