Drawings of Contents Page

Here is something I drew to plan how my contents page could look. It includes all the key conventions of a magazine such as headlines, titles, images and numbers. I also included my masthead to allow the magazine to show what you're reading all the way through and attach that brand name. I have continued to use a lot of red as that is one of my house colours and have decided to add a reoccurring blue colour in my magazine. If there is too many colours it may look unprofessional and messy and that is not a look I want.
There is the slogan at the bottom to add to the recognition of the magazine.
The pictures allow the audience to familiarize themselves with the artists and bands that are in the magazine as this will make them want to read that page sooner.

Here I have made a double page spread version of a contents page.

There is a large blue contents page banner at the top which is in capital letters. I have a picture of two people, they are cut out and I have put text around their bodies explaining the pages. 

The noise logo is in the bottOm left hand corner. This shows how it is part of the noise magazine and gives the magazine recognition. There is another image on the top right hand corner which is a feature article and has a little introduction to it and a large number. Underneath that explains what page every other article is on and has a green background to add colour to the magazine.
